Arranging Exhibit Space Lesson
The Grade 11 students had an experience to set up the art exhibit of Mr. Clarino at Vinyl on Vinyl Art Gallery in Chino Roces Ave, Makati City. They identified which works would best fit the walls provided. Guided by their teacher, they discovered the proper manner of hanging paintings and the arrangement of the given space.
Student Council Helps Brgy. Ugong Health Center
Domuschola's Student Council, together with Teachers Janna Pablo and Mary Alimasa, endorsed multivitamins to the representatives of the Barangay Ugong Health Center. Through the help from New MarketLink Pharmaceuticals Corporation, a TAO subsidiary, we were able to provide assistance to the community's health missions.
We are proud of our Student Council members who are committed to their duty to be involved in the implementation of the action projects of the school that are community and service-oriented.
IB Diploma Programme Regional (DP) Workshop
As we continue to work hard for our IB DP accreditation, Mr. Ramon Miranda, Head of School, and Mr. Mark Angilo Alceso, Secondary School Filipino Teacher, participated in the IB DP Regional Workshop at Brent International School, Binan, Laguna last September 16-18. The three-day workshop was a great avenue for Mr. Miranda and Teacher Mark to network and collaborate with other IB schools in the Asia-Pacific Region.
Mr. Miranda, together with other administrators of authorized and candidate schools in the APAC region, joined the IB DP Administrators' Category 1 workshop. The workshop was led by Mr. Richard Bruford, the Secondary School Principal of Suzhou Singapore International School. The main goal of the session was to further develop the understanding on IB DP Standards and Practices involved in running a successful Diploma Programme of a school.
On the other hand, Mr. Reynaldo Candido, an experienced and the only IB DP Filipino workshop leader at International School Manila, led the workshop for Filipino Literature teacher which Teacher Mark attended. The experiences of the workshop leader gave the participants a glimpse into the different practices on teaching and learning the Filipino A: Literature. The participants shared their best practices in the Filipino programme as well.
Joining IB regional workshops is a testament of the school’s continuous commitment to equip teachers and staff with the skills, insights, and strategies needed to implement the IB DP programme.

Beautiful Tone, Beautiful Heart
Noah Francisco from our Grade 2A class was one of the youngest participants who proudly represented the Philippines at the 6th Asia Region Suzuki Conference in The Westin, Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia last June 26-30. More than 500 participants from 17 different countries around Asia, USA, Australia, Canada and Europe gathered together for a week to celebrate music. Even if the participants come from different countries, speak various languages and share diverse cultures, they all understand the common language of music and philosophy from Dr Suzuki. He believes that every child can learn and grow to become a fine, noble human being who, with others, can create a better world. Noah proved himself to be a risk-taker during his piano recital in the event and enjoyed the classical concerts every night from world-class performers and young artists.
